Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 21, 2026
1. Who we are
Chimney Cleaning is owned and operated by Lead Indicator LLC, a Virginia business ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
2. What we do
Chimney Cleaning is a free matching and referral service. We connect homeowners who ask for help with independent chimney cleaning contractors. We are not a contractor: we do not perform any work, and the contractors we refer you to are independent businesses, not our employees or agents.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in our form we collect your name, phone number, email address, address or ZIP code, and details about your project (for example the type of work, its size and your timeline).
Information collected automatically. When you visit, we and our service providers collect your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and similar usage information, using cookies, pixels and similar technologies.
Form-session recording. To prove that you agreed to be contacted, we may record your session on our form (what was shown and what you entered), including through third-party services such as TrustedForm or Jornaya where they are used.
4. How we use your information
- To match your request with a contractor who serves your area.
- To contact you about your request, by phone, text message and email.
- To prevent fraud, spam and abuse.
- To verify and keep a record of your consent.
- To operate and improve this website.
- To measure and improve our advertising.
- To comply with the law and enforce our terms.
5. How we share your information
- Contractors. We sell or share the information about your request with a chimney cleaning contractor (or contractors) who pays us for the referral, so they can contact you about your project.
- Service providers. Companies that work for us, such as website hosting, text-message and email delivery, customer-relationship software, analytics and advertising platforms.
- Legal requirements. When the law requires it, to respond to legal process, or to protect our rights, our users or others.
- Business transfers. To a buyer or successor if our business is merged, acquired or sold, in whole or in part.
6. Calls and text messages
If you give consent on our form, Chimney Cleaning and the contractor matched to your request may contact you at the number you provided, including by calls, texts and prerecorded or artificial voice messages, which may use automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts and HELP for help. You can withdraw your consent at any time by replying STOP, using our opt-out page, or emailing us.
7. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to run the site, remember your visit, and measure our advertising (for example with Meta and Google). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work without them. Our site does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
8. Your choices
- Use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page to stop contact and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information.
- Reply STOP to any text message.
- Email us at support@leadindicator.ai.
9. Your state privacy rights
California. If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell and share; to delete it; to correct it; to opt out of its sale or sharing (use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page); and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. You may use an authorized agent to make a request; we may ask the agent for proof of your permission and ask you to verify your identity. In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of information described in section 3 and sold or shared identifiers, contact details and project details with contractors and advertising partners as described in section 5.
Other states. If you live in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, or another state with a consumer privacy law, you may have the right to access, delete and correct your personal information, to opt out of its sale and of targeted advertising, and to appeal a decision we make about your request. To appeal, reply to our decision or email support@leadindicator.ai with "Appeal" in the subject line.
To make any request, email support@leadindicator.ai or use our opt-out page. We will verify your request using the information you give us and respond within the time the law requires.
10. How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide the service, keep records of consent and opt-outs, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations, and then delete or de-identify it. We keep a record of an opt-out so that we can continue to honor it.
11. Security, children, changes and contact
Security. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children. This site is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes. We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
